چکیده
This paper analyses the effects of soil and foliar fertilization with sodium selenate (VI) on selenium content in spring wheat grain. The research was carried out at Departmental Experimental Station Institute Agriculture WULS Skierniewice 2018 2019. dose used 5.00 g Se·ha−1 various development stages wheat. results showed that fertilisation did not affect size grain yield, but both significantly increased compared to control group. highest Se obtained method combined application a total 10.00 g·ha-1 stem elongation phase (S + F2), tillering F1 which resulted values 0.615 0.719 mg·kg−1 grain, respectively. On this basis, it concluded best time carry treatment is (BBCH 30–39). show greatest increase achieved combined.

Microbial-enhanced Selenium and Iron Biofortification of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)--Applications in Phytoremediation and Biofortification.
Selenium (Se) is an essential trace element for humans and other mammals. Most dietary Se is derived from crops. To develop a Se biofortification strategy for wheat, the effect of selenate fertilization and bacterial inoculation on Se uptake and plant growth was investigated. YAM2, a bacterium with 99% similarity to Bacillus pichinotyi, showed many plant growth promoting characteristics. Inocul...

15 صفحه اولSelenium in Australia: selenium status and biofortification of wheat for better health.
Selenium (Se) is an essential micronutrient for humans and animals, but is deficient in at least a billion people worldwide. Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) is a major dietary source of Se. The largest survey to date of Se status of Australians found a mean plasma Se concentration of 103 microg/l in 288 Adelaide residents, just above the nutritional adequacy level. In the total sample analysed (si...

In 2005, scientists within several UK-based academic and industrial organizations came together to work on a research project, funded jointly by the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and several industry partners. The project was entitled Biofortification through Agronomy and Genotypes to Elevate the Levels of Selenium (BAGELS). The aim of the BAGELS project, which will repo...
متن کاملSelenium Biofortification and Phytoremediation Phytotechnologies: A Review.
The element selenium (Se) is both essential and toxic for most life forms, with a narrow margin between deficiency and toxicity. Phytotechnologies using plants and their associated microbes can address both of these problems. To prevent Se toxicity due to excess environmental Se, plants may be used to phytoremediate Se from soil or water. To alleviate Se deficiency in humans or livestock, crops...
